SIXEP Continuity Plant

The SIXEP Continuity Plant (SCP) is being built alongside Sellafield’s Site Ion Exchange Effluent Plant, or SIXEP.

Harry Peers Steelwork Ltd (HPSL) are currently providing approximately 1,500 tonnes of structural steelwork with associated crane beams, flooring, handrail and secondary steelwork at Sellafield on the SCP Project.

The SIXEP Continuity Plant (SCP) is being built alongside Sellafield’s Site Ion Exchange Effluent Plant, or SIXEP – what is referred to as ‘the kidneys of the site’. SIXEP does vital work to clean liquid effluents before discharged to sea. test

In addition to the structural steelwork packages, HPSL are also carrying out metal decking, concrete and cladding elements of the scheme to help in managing the interfaces during the construction phase.
